What we collect
- When you join the waitlist or subscribe: your email address and, if you choose, your first name, role, state, and topics of interest.
- When you contact us: your name, email, organization, and message.
- When you read the site: basic, aggregated usage data such as pages viewed and referring site. We do not use advertising trackers.
- Email engagement: whether an email edition was opened or a link clicked, so we can report totals to sponsors. Sponsors see totals only, never your personal information.
How we use it
- To send the magazine and updates you asked for.
- To choose stories and training programs that fit our readers.
- To report aggregate readership to sponsors.
What we never do
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share your email address with sponsors.
Where it is stored
We store data on Amazon Web Services in the United States and use trusted service providers to send email. They may use your data only to provide services to us.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email in one click.
- Ask us to see, correct, or delete your data by writing to hello@theskillednation.com.
Children
The Skilled Nation is written for readers 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
